General Instructions for filling Online Application Form |

Applicant should have a valid Email Id. All communications will be sent to this email ID. Hence, fill in the email ID in the Application Form correctly. |

Before filling Online Application Form read ``Medical Colleges And Dental Colleges of Assam (Regulation of Admission into 1st Year MBBS/BDS Courses) Rules, 2017``, amended upto 2025 carefully. Candidates should ascertain that they fulfil the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the Rules before filling the Application Form. |

Candidate should note down the password given by him/her and keep in safe custody. It will be necessary for further login. Safe custody of the password is the responsibility of candidate. |

Please note that if a candidate commits any mistake in filling the online Application Form, it cannot be corrected by this office. The Office will take no responsibility of any kind for such forms. So, carefully verify the Application Form before clicking the Submit button. |

The Applicant must possess the required criteria and education qualification. |

Applicant`s email ID and mobile number will be used for further correspondence. |

After reading the above instructions to fill Online Application Form, the Applicant has to click the Next button to display Online Application Form. |

Candidates must use the same details to fill in the Application form as submitted for NEET UG-2025. In case a candidate has changed category, which has been updated in the latest Assam State Merit list, the updated category must be used to fill the category field of the online application. |

Candidate will have to pay a Counselling fee of Rs.1,000.00 at the time of admission, if selected.

Please note that candidate must upload Scanned Copy of Required Documents in pdf format only. Instructions For the Documents Upload are As follows.
- Size of document must be less than 250 kb.
- Document must be in .pdf Format

Applicant need not send copy of application form or any document to this office. However candidate must take print out of Application Form for his/her subsequent use / record. |

Candidate has to Login using Login ID and password for uploading the required documents. |

The Annexures and other relevant documents are available in the official website of this directorate - dme.assam.gov.in which can be downloaded from the website. |
